At the 2023 Rodeo Uncorked! international wine competition in Houston, 50 Cent's Le Chemin du Roi champagne just brought in a cool six figures.
On Sunday, February 26th, the event took place, and the champagne won the Grand Champion Best of Show title, besting over 3,000 other entries. Chron reports that the bottle was auctioned off following the competition, with the winning bid of $325,000 coming from the real estate company J. Alan Kent Development.
50 dined at the event, purchasing a bottle of Bernhardt Winery's Antiquity Chardonnay Reserve for a cool $165,000.
50 commented on Instagram beside an image of an article on the Le Chemin du Roi sale, "You think you know money until you go to the Rodeo in Houston." "I purchased the lot 2 Reserve champion for $165,000 you need a serious bag to play here lol."
In addition to dominating the wine and spirits industry, 50 Cent has been expanding his TV and film empire. Fif just revealed that he has added 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo to the cast of the upcoming third season of his famous STARZ series BMF.
Numerous notable celebrities, including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mo'nique, Kash Doll, Yung Miami, and Serayah, have already appeared on the show.
Both 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo have considerable acting accomplishments on their resumes. In 2013, the Atlanta rapper featured in an episode of Law & Order: SVU, and more recently, he co-starred with Antonio Banderas in the 2022 action film The Enforcer.
The "So Sick" singer has appeared in a number of films, including Stomp The Yard, Red Tails, and others. While celebrating the renewal announcement on Instagram, 50 also stated that there would be other BMF spin-offs. According to the G-Unit mogul, three distinct shows are forthcoming.
"MF is on fire in its third season," he wrote. "I will not miss the forthcoming spin-offs BMF IMMORTALS 1, 2, and 3 BOOM GLGGreenLightGang!" Deadline previously reported that the spin-offs would debut at the beginning of 2023. The first appears to be titled BMF Immortal, but work on the concept is just beginning.
