Yaya Toure, a former midfielder for Manchester City, has said that Thomas Partey is a great midfielder.
Toure said that the only reason he would watch Arsenal every weekend is to see the Ghanaian soccer player play. The former Ivory Coast international said on talkSPORT, "Yeah, he's brilliant, it's nice to see."
"I think that now, whenever Arsenal plays on the weekend, I would go just to see him. He's just unbelievable." Partey is currently playing the best football he has since he joined Arsenal. He has scored two goals so far this season.
The Ghanaian has been an important part of Mikel Arteta's team, which leads the Premier League table by five points.
Last week, the Ghanaian player's goal helped the Gunners come back from being down two goals to beat Bournemouth 3-2 in the Premier League.
Partey, on the other hand, thinks that Arsenal's never-say-die attitude is what has helped the club have a good season so far.
"I think it's the never-give-up attitude. We keep going game after game because we believe in the team and because the fans believe in us. Partey said after the game, "I think we have earned every win we have had this season."
"I think it's another game where we were down, but we were able to come back and win." I think this will give the team and the fans more motivation to keep going. We all want to play football like this," he said.
