It is intolerable that there has been needless and cowardly shooting of passenger cars along the Walewale route and in the Bawku districts. This is completely destabilising the recently improving security situation in Bawku and its surroundings.

Mahama Ayariga commended the security services for their efforts in reducing the number of people killed in the Pusiga shootings that day.

Mahama Ayariga has sent his condolences to the families of the deceased as well as his best wishes to the injured and those who have suffered gunshot wounds. He prayed that they would heal quickly.
