Following the season two conclusion of Power Book IV: Force, star Joseph Sikora has verified some wonderful news.
Sikora confirmed the show's return for a third season on Instagram, while also providing some behind-the-scenes photographs from season two.
"Sending to all Power fans!" wrote the actor. Thank you for joining us on this ride since you know we do it for you! I adore you. I can't wait to show you what @gary_lennon created and what @deontaylor brought to life. Tell me what you're looking forward to in season three."
On the spin-off show, Sikora plays Tommy Eagan, a character first introduced in the original series of Power before it concluded in 2020. Tommy subsequently made a surprise return in the season three finale of Power II: Ghost.
Meanwhile, Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 3 premieres next month, introducing new character Wendell Pierce from The Wire and Suits.
Pierce has joined the cast of the Power spin-off as Ishmael 'Snaps' Henry, a former bank robber who serves as a mentor to Kanan and other criminals alongside his wife Pop. Erika Woods from The Blacklist will play Snaps' wife Stephanie 'Pop' Henry.
The characters initially appeared in the show's season three trailer, which was released last month.
Season three will also see the introduction of Paul Yen, who played Quân in Little Fires Everywhere, as a new recurring character. Grantham Coleman, who starred in The Americans, will also make his Raising Kanan debut as Unique's older brother, Ronnie Mathis, in the third season.
